Revealed at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, concept EV9 reimagines what an all-electric vehicle can be.
Featuring 3rd row capability, a solar panel built into the hood, and an interior made from sustainable materials (just like the EV6), the EV9 fuses the bold SUV attitude with the credentials of an EV.

With a bold and ergonomic steering wheel and the 27-inch ultra-wide display, concept EV9 offers an innovative, class-defining  experience for the driver.

More Space for the whole family

Although the EV9 is based on the same successful platform as the EV6, it pushes the boundaries of modern engineering with a much more stretched cabin that fits up to 7 passengers.

Design-wise, the EV9 has a completely different disposition than that of its younger sibling the EV6. With a more elevated stance and angular front end. The front headlights that stay hidden behind a laser-etched panel until the vehicle is turned on! Kia calls the new headlights Star Cloud, and says the astronomy theme is expanded through the daytime running lights and taillights.

There is still little to know about range and power for the new EV9 but given the enormity of the EV9 we expect Kia to provide a greater battery to power the new beast.

Stay tuned for the launch of the EV9 next year!
